About Us

Here's Our Story:

Having grown up in New York City, David often found convenient stores seemingly at every corner and often filled with an abundance of mainstream snack brands - very affordable and usually delicious, but usually lacking in nutritional value or not all that unique. Then, in 2022, as his circle of friends embraced remote and hybrid work setups, David saw an opportunity to redefine the at-home snacking experience and partnered with his brother Sumen to make it happen.

Instead of embarking on the journey of creating a snack brand, we had a different vision in mind. In recent years, we've been noticing a surge of remarkable snack brands emerging, each with its unique flair, yet struggling at times to reach a broader audience due to limited availability in certain regions or difficulty in getting shelve space.

We wanted to give these hidden gems the spotlight they deserved so in 2023 we embarked on building a personalized snack box service so customers could experience unique snacks from emerging snack brands without sacrificing taste or nutrition. 

Who Are We Anyway?

David Tse, CEO and co-founder, is an MIT and Stanford engineering graduate with years of experience in Data Science and currently leading a data science team at Dropbox. If he wrote a book, he would title it "curiosity actually didn't kill the cat." 

Sumen Tse, CTO and co-founder, has years of experience in software engineering spanning across multiple industries: Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. He is also a new dad and spends his free time figuring out how to make his daughter Ellie laugh.
